St Matthew's Church Hall is located next door to St Matthew's Church and is available for all sorts of functions. Please be aware that the Hall is run as separate enterprise from our Church and as such all enquiries regarding the Hall should be made to the Hall Manager and not the church. Their direct number is: 0161-865-1750 |
Here at St Matthew's we take climate change seriously. We do, wherever possible, follow the guidelines set by the Church of England and use sustainable and recallable materials. Our lighting has been upgraded as is our use of heating, which is currently under review. Some of the grounds around the church building have been left for "re-wilding".We recycle batteries, bottle tops, stamps, ink cartridges in church. We have a bug hotel in the church garden now and have put up bird and bat boxes. We are also signatories to the Manchester Diocese "Eco-Church" scheme. We have achieved Bronze Eco Church Award and are working towards our Silver. |
